Focus
The use of technology is crucial and one of the eight basic competencies outlined in the SCANS report regarding what high school students need to know and be able to do upon graduation. However, it should be balanced with the other strategies outlined in this course. Students who rely solely on technology may be too sedentary or lack the physical movement that is integral to good health. They may also appear to lack interpersonal skills essential for success in the workplace.
